Overview
You are using the Sococo5k desktop application but it is not working correctly. You want to reinstall the desktop application to solve the issues you are experiencing. These issues could include:
- Microphone, camera, and screen sharing not working
- You are being logged off
- The desktop app not accepting the correct credentials
- Items in space displayed incorrectly
- Notifications not working as defined in settings
- The application is crashing with errors
You have previously confirmed the issue is caused by your installation by accessing the Sococo5k app in incognito mode and not experiencing the issue.
Solution
- Uninstall the Sococo5k application from your Windows, Mac, or Linux PC.
Note: For Windows, an Uninstall Wizard will open.
- Download the latest installer for the desktop app:
- Execute the installer and follow the installation wizard, if displayed, to install the application (for Windows, with Admin privileges).
Testing
After the reinstallation, the app should work without issues. Open the application and log in using your Sococo5k credentials. If you are still facing issues, follow up on a Support ticket describing the issue in detail and all steps performed to resolve it.
