Overview

You are trying to access a room but are not able to because the door is closed, or the room you want to enter has the door open but you want to be polite and let the other people in the room know you wish to come inside. 

Solution

You can knock to a room at any time, even if the doors are open. But if the doors are closed, the only way to enter a room is to knock first.

1. Right-click on the Room label or Room area where the person or people you want to interact with are located.
2. Click on the Knock on Door option.
   

Testing

Once you knock, all members in the room will be notified, and they will be able to grant you permission to enter.

If a user in the room selects the Admit option in the notification, your avatar will automatically enter the room. If the Decline option is selected instead, your avatar will remain in the same place.
